So explained to my son this morning why the slugcat was on his own. Did not intend to cause devastation before preschool.
Apparently the idea of the slug cat not being able to find his family was too much for him. Poor love.

This is the 3rd time I’ve bought the game as well, once with the dlc on steam, then again when it was on sale on ps5, now again on switch.
I’ve done this with a few games over my life, two of them are Dark Souls, and the rest are Kojima games, so having done it with Rainworld seems kinda special.
Have started my 3 year old son playing #rainworld, I figure he can learn the basics and beat a lizard or two now and then the game over the next 15 years.

molchat doma (music artist) and rain world are two things that I find... lonely, but in a comforting way. They take a feeling of loneliness and transform it into a different kind of loneliness, one that is less harsh and more peaceful.

If you haven't played #Rainworld, this is the video that initially got me into it, describing the complicated procedural game mechanics that are different than pretty much anything else out there.
I've found myself thinking about #Rainworld pretty frequently recently, and wasn't sure why, but I just realized that the beginning of this one song from an album I've been listening to sounds exactly like something from the game soundtrack.

是一個美術和故事很吸引人，但是難度不低的遊戲，另外我個人覺得他大多數生物動畫都是程式生成 (procedural animation) 這點很有趣，可以看到跟常見的預製動畫不同的多變且流暢動作
印象中幾年前這個遊戲發售的時候就有在關注了，因為我平常就挺喜歡像素跟動作的元素，不過當時還是沒有真的買來玩，最近總算把他給大致通關了
