Das wäre so als App mit #Pixeldroid ggf. auch was für sie.

Meine Tochter hat hier einen Account auf dieser Instanz und ist gleich alt. Hat aber bei ihr noch nicht so gezündet.

Schön wäre es schon, wenn sich da noch mehr finden würden

@olliprivat@pixelfed.social es sollte eigentlich egal sein, welchen Softwarezugang du im Fediverse benutzt.
Du kannst zum einen nicht steuern, mit welcher Software (Mastodon, Friendica, Pixelfed usw.) das Gegenüber, deine Bilder oder dein Konto abonniert hat.

Dann kommt noch dazu, das es mit anderen Apps für deine Software (Pixelfed) wohl geht. Ich nutze #Pixeldroid und da sehe ich den Alt Text

es gibt nicht "die" APP und nicht "das" OS.

Die beste APP für mobil ist immer noch der Browser als WebApp. Man hat immer die volle Funktion und den kompletten Funktionsumfang. Apps bieten das meist nicht und schränken da ein.
Das hat auch damit zu tun, das die Standardwerte nehmen, aber nicht das was die Instanz euch erlaubt.
Das ausnutzen des erlaubten, geht nur im Browser, oder sich von den Apps beschränken lassen.

Bei mit mit #Pixeldroid und in der WebApp sieht es so aus, wie auf dem Bild.

@snaprails I'm not sure, it seems like a design choice, but I could be wrong...hopefully it's addressed in the future.

As i pointed out, in the official app and #pixeldroid the camera function is available in the navigation menu

@snaprails I think I wasn't quite clear in my OP, but what I'm referring to is the ability to access the camera directly from within the app to take a picture.

And yes, the current position to add photos, as it is now, is not intuitive, moving it to the nav bar will help:)

Now to add the ability to take a pic, like #pixeldroid and the official #pixelfed app (in Nav as well)

#Tusky may work at least partly with #Pixelfed. Not really sure, how Pixelfed support the #Mastodon client #API.

There exist some specific apps for Pixelfed like #Pixeldroid and others.

To make use of specific Pixelfed features, you need to register an account at a Pixelfed instance like you did with Mastodon.

@gazebo_c@chaos.social You always have the best comfort and functions if you use the browser as a WebApp (and the browser is also just an app ), especially if the text is longer
