#OVH qui n'arrive toujours pas à régler un petit problème sur notre ligne SIP depuis ... octobre 2023 !
À chaque fois que je me connecte au manageur #ovh je me demande pourquoi je continue d'utiliser leurs services. Aujourd'hui l'écran inutile qui fait boucler une procédure avant la fin.

Den Ruf den #hetzner früher hatte, gilt heute für #ovh. Eine unglaubliche Dreckschleuder mit schlecht funktionierenden Abuse Prozessen. Aber was erwartet man von einer Bude die #rechenzentren aus Holz baut…
Bis die das behoben haben, ist diese ASN gesperrt und hat keinen Zugriff mehr. Sorry an alle, die dort #rss Aggregatoren betreiben - ist nur temporär.
@Linux Are you saying #OVH serves Australian customers from the USA entity? In the EU of course they use the EU entities only, which are supposedly insulated from the CLOUD act because the USA entity has zero control over the EU entities (and the USA employes supposedly have zero access to the EU side).

#OVH shareholders seem to believe that the #tariffs are coming for the competition. The stock went up 20 % in a day (30 % in a month) with volumes 10 times higher than usual. It's still down 40 % from the 2021 IPO (7 months after the Strasbourg fire) and 60 % down from the 2022 peaks. (Does OVH benefit from building its own servers, so it doesn't care much whether Dell et al. are hit by tariffs?)

Na klientach wymusili 2FA, i to jeszcze nie jest złe - raczej przeciwnie. Gorzej, że to 2FA po emailu, a ich farma pocztowa jest tak skonstruowana, że jeśli docelowy serwer odbije wiadomość z błędem 450 4.2.0, to owszem, ponowią próbę zgodnie z RFC, ale *z zupełnie innego serwera*. Także czekam sobie teraz aż nadejdzie ten słynny kod...

Je cherche un serveur cloud pour la sauvegarde de mon serveur personnel Nextcloud environ 200Go. Si possible en #france ou #europe et vert.
Au travail j'utilise #Scaleway pour une sauvegarde de taille similaire, aucun problème de fiabilité ou de coût.

Je suis client @ouvaton depuis 2007, mais le service n'est pas adapté pour autant de données.

Why?
OVH previously only resold servers in the United States, with their datacenters and business offices overseas in France. Today, OVH is under direct Us Jurisdiction, even redirecting their traffic to their American site us.ovhcloud.com and their terms of services outline an address in the USA, plus they're hiring for their own datacenter in the USA, and lastly in the footer of the website it now reads, "Copyright ©2025 OVH US LLC"
I removed, OVH from my list of recommended providers.
