Rewatched #Ghostbusters + 2021 sequel last night. Tonight: 2016 reboot

2016 is *easily* funnier and creepier than 2021. #KateMcKinnon absolutely kills as Holtz--watch her face even when other people are talking. (Wiig and McCarthy are good, but playing the characters they always play....just like Murray)

That said, the editing could be tighter. Some good scenes are just too long (hiring Kevin) and in other places we have multiple lines where one--or none--would be better

Mildly Amusing Bored Housewife

I had an impromptu MRI this week. I don’t remember the machine making different noises last time. I thought it was all the same tone.

The noises made me think of the Kate McKinnon alien abduction sketch on SNL. And that made me laugh a lot. I’m sure they were concerned about my mental status and why I was laughing and smiling the whole time I was in that tube. But dang is that sketch funny! 👽 🛸
