Conversations this evening have got me thinking about possibly writing a #JupyterHub integration for #CollaboraOffice .
I'm a little surprised it doesn't already exist. Being able to output python/R generated charts, etc into a document or read and process document form data en masse all seem like good potential use cases for it.
Finally making progress on running Jenkins #podman jobs in #Kubernetes. The latter is most of the complication. Doing podman in Kubernetes is not yet for the faint of heart, but definitely possible. If you just need to build images, #Binderhub from #JupyterHub handles it in an elegant way in the helm chart using a daemonset and initializing a unique socket.

My blog post on "Building a Data Science Platform with Kubernetes" got published in Towards Data Science, explaining how to setup JupyterHub, MLflow and SeldonCore in Kubernetes
Doing a bit of dog-fooding, and doing some dev in our IDE environments (#PyCharm, #VSCode) served up by @ProjectJupyter #JupyterHub on our k8s cluster (it uses projector proxy under the hood).
Other than the occasional jerkiness while scrolling and it fighting with browser over copy+paste, pretty close to running it on your local machine. Definitely something to be said for WUI-based IDEs.
Hi Samba folks! Using the most recent samba-ad-dc, can I authenticate clients using only LDAP clients?
In my case is a complex setup because I will serve data and services in a Windows environment and also want to authenticate the same users in a #JupyterHub server [which have LDAP auth].
I self-hosted Jupyter Notebooks supporting Javascript, Python along with Datascience packages. I like it so far. I needed it for doing ad-hoc coding especially in Javascript.

As a side note: We now switched from running most analyses on user PCs to a central #JupyterHub instance (with far more compute power). For us, the combination of a centralised Python environment with the proteomics-tailored #autoprot functions is the best compromise between ease of access for new users, documentation for future projects (in form of #JupyterNotebooks and versatility to adapt the analysis to each biological question.
I wrote a blog post describing how you can now integrate #JupyterHub with #Nextcloud

Integrating BinderHub with JupyterHub
Integrating the capabilities of mybinder.org and #BinderHub into #JupyterHub allows users to control their computational research environments and significantly reduces the workload for administrators.

@vwbusguy ohh #JupyterHub is great!! I‘m running it a VM on Proxmox. So useful for teaching
