Supplies! I got the supplies. The #JoannFabric that was a short 10 min drive from home closed months ago; now my options are either 7 miles south or 8 miles north. And there are obstacles like commuter rail, or road closures, with no clear direct route.
The southerly store is showing the telltale signs… empty shelves, understaffing, no curbside pickup. Ugh.
Their shopping app irks me no end.
It’s tough to feed my #fabric addiction when #JoannFabric ‘s app and web page are such cr@p at taking my order.
It totally forgot my payment and address info, same as it’s ever been for the last 2 years.
I’m making a table runner for my step-MIL to give as a gift, decided I needed some nice thread for the quilting, and wanted more of the same fabric to add a hot pad or placemats. Gonna practice free motion #quilting on the mats before attempting on the runner.
Although #JoAnnFabric filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy recently, the iPhone app just updated. Hmm.
