I don't think the #American public will be upset by the arrest. Right off the bat, the conservative infosphere are already saying the defendant is a serious criminal and you can tell, in real time, Americans are buying the story.

Americans talk a big game of "defend the #Constituion" and "rule of #law", but when the rubber hits the road, they will go to any lengths to defend #Trump because he pledges to set up concentration camps and enforce gender-specific toilets.
This is #America.

Meanwhile the answer was easy : US Constitution Article 3 Section 3

Section 3.

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.

She could replied that the US is not at war , so it could not be considered as a treason….

But ofc that means knowing the constitution .

( I don t bellieve that people should shout treason for any reason ) .

:coffeev60: Good read

There will be lots of lawsuits. This is a Constitutional protection.

"The birthright citizenship order goes into effect in 30 days and prohibits federal agencies from issuing citizenship documents (such as passports) to the—to be clear—citizens in question.

But that's simply not how any of this works. "

#Birthright #Constitution #Trump #14thAmendment

Mother JonesActually, the 14th Amendment still existsTrump signed an executive order purporting to rewrite birthright citizenship. That's not how the Constitution works.

Sharing as the incoming emperor apparently hasn't read the #Constituion.
