Much respect to White Sox players, who were obviously determined to not be the "Kershaw's 3000th K" batter. They had a game plan, and they made life very difficult for Kersh. But he persevered, and got his 3000th K on his 100th pitch of the night. HOW COOL IS THAT????? You can't write a better script.

The White Sox batters seem to be sitting on Kershaw's 2-strike pitch, fully expecting that he's gonna throw a strike in order to get to that 3000 K total. And it's working. Kershaw has gotten to 2-strike counts a lot, but no K so far.

I wonder if Kershaw will make adjustments to throw more breaking pitches to try and get some swinging Ks.
