#Catima 2.34.5 is out!

This is a maintenance release that targets Android 15 and fixes a crash.

The app will look slightly uglier on some devices, due to Google's changes in how drawing over the system and navigation bar works. Sadly, supporting proper edge-to-edge requires extensive rewrites (help very welcome!), so I opted to at least ensure we target Android 15 before any deadlines.

@SylvieLorxu will #catima support to update Transit Pass one day?

I imported my Hamburg (HVV) Transit pass via .pkpass File.

So now after one month it expires and I have to get a new pkpass file (espass ? ) to have an up to date and valid pass again.

In PassAndroid ( https://github.com/ligi/PassAndroid ) for example there is a refresh button and I can do this refresh within the app. So the pass can update itself.

#catima 2.34.4 is out!

This reverts Catima to targetSdk 34 (Android 14) for now, to fix the UI regressions introduced in Catima 2.34.3.

It also includes the fixes in 2.34.3 and a new little feature to sort your cards by the "valid from" date, useful for things like train tickets.

I've decided to yank #Catima 2.34.3 due to issues with Android 15 edge-to-edge support.

Specifically, when using button navigation on Android 15 landscape parts of the app are inaccessible.

The GitHub release has been reverted to a "pre-release", IzzyOnDroid has removed the release on my request, F-Droid has been notified (but they will likely still publish the new update for 3-5 days anyway due to their inability to remove apps out-of-build-cycle) and the Google Play rollout has been stopped.

Catima 2.34.3 is out!

This bumps the targetSdk to 35 (Android 15), fixes a design issue where the keyboard covered the save button in the edit screen and improves pkpass file detection slightly.

Few problems with that: I have no control over the RuStore listing, nor do I control the Aptoide listing. Both may very well be malware.

It should go without saying: don't download apps from sketchy unofficial "app stores" and other APK download sites.

#Catima 2.34.1 is out!

This fixes a minor bug in Catima 2.34.0 where selecting an "invalid" pkpass file (corrupted/not actually pkpass) after choosing to open from Pkpass would cause the app to crash. Now, you just get a little message stating the file could not be read instead.

#Catima 2.34.0 is out!

This release adds support for #Passbook (#pkpass) files, commonly used for event tickets and more!

It also contains some other minor fixes and better handling of image thumbnails (especially transparent ones).

On the end-user side, this release probably doesn't look that different, but it contains some major code refactoring. It is also the first release with #Kotlin code in it.

So. Die #deutschebahn nervt fleißig das ich ihnen dringend bestätigen soll das ich mein #Deutschlandticket weiterhin über sie beziehe, obwohl es teuerer wird.
Allerdings ist mir die Bahn spätestens seit sie auf komische bezahlmethoden setzen etwas suspekt. Habt ihr denn Tipps wo man - am besten ohne eine App dafür zu brauchen - sein Ticket komfortabel beziehen kann, um es dann bei z.B. #catima importieren?
