And that’s it for the first two episodes of Aharen-San Wa Hakarenai! Like I mentioned earlier, my Thursdays are pretty crazy, so having this funny, quirky, adorable show to come home to after a day like that will be prodigious! #AharenSan

One thing I’m noticing on my second viewing of this show—everyone has their own quirks and eccentricities, and it’s their friendships and relationships with others that compliment and help them get through the days with a lot of fun. #Aharensan

Poor Reina. She’s been trying so hard to keep Raido from getting embarrassed that his fly is open. I mean, sweetie, you could just write a NOTE or something…

…especially when you realize that Raido is as clueless as a sack of rocks. #Aharensan

“What is it girl? Timmy trapped in the well?”

HAHA!!! This is the 2nd time I’ve heard this joke used in a dub and I still love it!

(The first time was in Episode 2 of “Interviews With Monster Girls” when Hikari is watching over Machi’s body while her head goes on a “Date” with the teacher! #Aharensan

“SHe looks like she’s going to grind my bones to make her bread!”

…was that…WAS THAT A REFERENCE TO THE STINKY CHEESE MAN?!

Raido as a kid is just a big a dork as he is in high school. #Aharensan

And of course, to help Reina get eye drops in her eye, he has to give her face the squishy-squish!

Reina looks as though she been through a bad scrap! Baby girl looks beat up!

…but as usual, the actual reason for her appearance is less elaborate—baby girl got something in her eye, kept it shut and well…you can guess the rest. #AharenSan

ONwards to episode 2!

And we also learn that Aharen’s first name is Reina! SO CUTE! #Aharensan

And the reason why Aharen was so sleepy? She was making lunch for Raido. Bless her heart. She’s just so adorable…

…and now she’s fast asleep across Raidos lap like a cat.
