@underseamonkey i understand your thinking but i think it is a bit to much. In it’s essence you can’t describe a distro as contry X tech. Foss is a worlwide effort, one of people who are not the ones that threaten freedom and stability. No matter the country of origin. Avoiding American closed source software and services on the other hand is somthing that has my full support as they hold more than a few strings of that orange muppet.

@underseamonkey I'd like to point out that Fedora is not managed by Red Hat, it is sponsored. I totally get the idea of not using US tech companies (even though I work for one) but every project is in someway or another related to any given country at any given time.
I would argue that the main goal should be to not use services that are not controlled by external non EU parties, rather than just ban anything that is not from the EU.
