Another year, another entry for the annual Games for Blind Gamers game jam - this year, I spent time making a template for LÖVE / Love2d games to tap into the browser's screen reader support. It was super fun to build, and great to have participated and learn more about making accessible experiences.
For the actual game built with this template, I put together "Ladybud Roll", a small dice rogue-like game.

@jrjurman Nice to see you in mastodon, Ladybud Roll is one of my favorite entries! The concept is really fun and I love the 8bit sound effects. The only issue is that NVDA freezes a lot navigating the UI, but I think that is a chromium optimization problem rather than a game’s bug because it happens in various websites.
Edit: It was in deed a chromium issue, the game runs smoothly in Floorp Browser.
