@matt I want rust to be popular so that there are a few more Rust jobs available. It is the only new approach in a niche occupied by C, C++ and Ada (Zig too may be - I want to see how its safety story pans out). Instead, there seems to be a dedicated team present to disparage the language on the basis of wild assumptions and drive away potential adopters.

Perhaps it's time to focus the attention on these anti-Rust brigades as much as they accuse the 'Rust evangelism strike force'.
