@gajim maybe you will do smth wlto reduce the risks of confiscations of pc by world wide special forcest government specialists? Because the messenger is not hiden, is not tryin to be similiar to a calcualtion app or smth, doesnt have entry pass phrase and doesnt even encrypt the local db, ehich contains my jid amd contact fvkin list! There is no protection from pc confiscation by thief or govrnment!
I remind u the iranium gov still have death penalty for lgbt ppl!
@Olexiyhappy51 in general it is advisable to use an operating system which enables complete encryption of your data. Why should every app try to re-invent the wheel by applying 'their own' layer of encryption? If you're on Linux, using LUKS could be a solution.
@gajim in this case then special forces will force you to give em your password, especially in iran, and they may intervene to you home too quickly so you may not able to off your pc, this isnt work in such kind of situation
