I've spent the last month really going back to basics and trying to learn programming properly end-to-end. It's been really fun to revisit everything I've learned previously and actually do a deeper dive into all those things I didn't really understand (like memory management and FP principles). If it weren't for economic uncertainty, I'd highly recommend being laid off.
This is why I'm so confused by people being so excited by AI in the context of "I don't have to learn x now, I can just get the result without learning". The learning is the fun part!
