I finally bit the bullet and converted my cluster from ceph-ansible to cephadm. And... it was super quick and easy with no downtime. This cluster has endured much bad hardware and many dumb mistakes from me over the last 3 years or so with no data loss. The Ceph project is really a quality piece of software.
