Wow, mcmaster.com exceeds its reputation as the epitome of an ecommerce site. I've browsed through the catalog a few times, but this week is the first time I've actually ordered something. Every step of the process was incredibly smooth and efficient. #ux
All the steps of creating an account, entering payment and shipping info were done and I was seamlessly logged in to my new account without even leaving the cart view page. At no point did I suddenly find myself in a UI with different or limited navigation options. At no point did I have to allow a gazillion third-party javascripts to load. #ux
