Am really upset that LG killed the ability to unlock the bootloader on their phones - rendering them useless - instead of giving them a second life with a custom ROM like @e_mydata

Thinking of what's the best way to get this resolved. Public pressure on the company? Contact local rep/privacy agency/regulators/..?
