We're preparing to release #wxWidgets 3.2.5 next week and any help with testing the latest 3.2 sources (see https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/releases/tag/v3.2.5-rc1) would be very welcome!
@VZ Time to build 3.2.5-rc1 for testing! I'll get back to you with test results for Tenacity.
@VZ OK. Here's the status report:
- Building succeeds on Arch Linux using Clang and LLD 17.0.6
- Tenacity builds with no changes against 3.2.5-rc1.
- No bugs on Tenacity's end, not that I could discover anyways. (Edit: tested on Arch Linux, also built with the same compiler and linker)
Overall, everything works perfectly! In other news, it looks like you pushed a v3.2.4.1 tag recently. Flathubbot picked up on it and automatically opened a PR. We'll ignore it and wait until 3.2.5 is released.
@gperson Great, thanks!
It does seem a bit anticlimactic when the only result is "nothing changes", but it's still much better than "nothing works any more".
And I think things like macOS Sonoma support and fixes for copy-paste under Wayland affect just about all applications, including Tenacity, so you'll still see some improvements.
@VZ Awesome! Some great fixes everyone benefits from!
@VZ No worries! There weren't any problems created from pushing that tag. It was just an interesting observation!
