Today is International Day for Women and Girls in Science. Given the massive onslaught on DEI initiatives in the US right now, this day feels incredibly important to make a note of.
Science is improved by diversity, and diversity does not happen on its own.
@Drmowinckels
I'm totally for your message, but that person on the bottom-left holding a microscope by the mechanical stage just startled everyone who had ever TAd a practicum involving magnification tools.
@tyx as someone not in a science using that equipment I obviously didn't notice. But now it cannot be unseen
@Drmowinckels
please stop using images generated by those horrid automated plagarism machines. This one has mangled faces, in some cases even combining laboratory glassware elements with faces. It's awful.
@llewelly for sure has a lot of weird things happening in there, and you might even find it horrid. Totally fine. This is generated by a model running by ny unis servers and knowing that posts generate more views with images I opted to use that to get one easily.
