I thought OpenLibrary was the best attempt to build GoodReads, but they have a few gaps: No detailed reviews, no social networking etc. Only today, I came across these two projects:
Now, I'm glad that I decided to make LearnAwesome.org around LEARNING, not READING - because this space is crowded. All of us should have conversations around interoperability though. @tripofmice @Alamantus@cybre.space @simon @cwebber

How about getting on a chat this Sunday about interoperability for vocabulary, topic taxonomy, reviews and federation? I've created a BBB room for this: https://bbb.fosshost.org/b/nil-i4i-dap-gvk
We can start by understanding every project's architecture choices. Doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AAh_3Kj-LNQv0hnM4R0wIUD-q8xOme4GYiEacvbGub8/edit?usp=sharing
