I thought OpenLibrary was the best attempt to build GoodReads, but they have a few gaps: No detailed reviews, no social networking etc. Only today, I came across these two projects:

Now, I'm glad that I decided to make LearnAwesome.org around LEARNING, not READING - because this space is crowded.
