I spent some time today comparing public #DNS resolvers. Considering speed, security and privacy features, I think that @quad9dns looks the best for me (speed of course depends on the ISP, so it's all relative).

But it made me think - what DNS resolvers do others use?

(Is there a better place than Fediverse to ask such a question? I don't think so! 😅)

@kamyk @quad9dns I use TLS and https as fallback. I'm using mullvad, controld and dot.sh

These three don't keep logs, which is why I chose them. I've found tls to be slowest, then https, the fastest being unencrypted.
