I've been slowly weeding the backyard (vs paying someone to do it) for a few minutes each day because its supposed to be good exercise. I've left these big ones alone because I thought they looked neat, finally got around to googling what they are. Apparently they only live 2 years and when they have flowers that means they are on their 2nd year of life. Now I'm somewhat sad.
