@quantixed Not really a connaisseur. I had to make some experiences back in university. Was a "pleasure" to work with it. But still, it was good enough to support IBW as data import for #NumeRe
@numeredevs we have mainly switched to R and other FOSS but we have a lot of legacy Igor code (+ a lot of love for Igor). Besides Igor is still WAY faster at number crunching than most other alternatives.
@quantixed Yeah, back in university we used Igor to control a AFM via a DSP box. Plots look really good. However, the standard fitting algorithm (in v6, I think) was really bad compared to the FOSS implementation in libGSL
