I'm investigating HTTP Compression Dictionary Transport, where you can create a custom compression dictionary for your content and then send responses compressed with it. How large a dictionary helps? At least for my data, larger is better, but the gain diminishes quickly. datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft

A chart, entitled "Larger ZStandard dictionaries yield diminishing compression gains". Small dictionaries result in larger compressed output. Larger dictionaries help a little, but not much.
