The commander of the British army announced that Russian forces suffered their largest monthly losses in October 2024, with an average of 1,500 dead and wounded daily.
"Russia is about to lose 700,000 people killed and wounded - this is a huge pain and suffering that the Russian people are forced to endure because of Putin's ambitions," Admiral Sir Tony Radakin noted.
@noelreports 700 thousand people is nothing for them. It only matters for countries where human life is important. Russia is not such a country.
During WW2 and every other war before the tactics remain the same — drown the other side in the blood of their soldiers.
Nazi Germany, fighting against everybody else in WW2 lost 6 mln people. Russia lost 40 MILLIONS.
Do you think they’re going to care about 700k or 2 mln in a war to conquer Ukraine?
@NeonPurpleStar @noelreports tell me about the war both my grandfathers fought in :) it’s not
oversimplification, it’s a fact that human life costs nothing for Russia. 27 million or 40 it’s still much more than any other country. Because they don’t value their soldiers.
Majority was Ukrainian, and they will try it again — forcing people of Donbas and other conquered regions to fight against us.
They can do anything and we can’t shoot back.
@NeonPurpleStar @noelreports and you need to understand something very simple. In a #war the country that can sacrifice more people has an advantage.
So in a direct war between the West, where human life is valued highly and #Russia, where they can throw millions into the trenches and not care, Russia will have a huge advantage.
Who’s going to fight for Europe? Do u foresee a WW2 level of volunteers? I don’t.
@NeonPurpleStar @noelreports russia is stoppable for a little time more. If nothing changes — the weapon usage limitations aren’t getting lifted, weapons supplies don’t become sufficient — we will fall. And if that happens all that will remain is to say “we told u so”. But frankly that’s the kind of satisfaction I can live without.
My grandfathers fought in the Soviet army and were from Ukraine, so I know the numbers and history, nothing condescending there.
@NeonPurpleStar @noelreports hopefully you won’t have to
