Urg, it seems Lobste.rs has a new policy whereby people can't post content from their own site if it accumulates to more than 50% of the links for a particular domain.

Feels like breaking nuts with a sledgehammer to me, but oh well.

@feld @kev This is why I'd love to see a project like Lemmy see some success. I may even host an instance if they can get it to a point where it's feasible. I'd have to drag @kev along though.

@mike @feld yeah, Lemmy is cool. It’s like old school Reddit.

@kev Yea, I'd love to fire up an instance, but I'm waiting for federation. So far that isn't working, and to me that's the killer feature.
