Day 3 of CPython Core Devs sprint in Brno:
(Mostly just my own updates here)
- announced Joanna Jablonski's draft PEP about Python Docs Editorial Board.
- Released cherry_picker.py v2.2.0. It has bug fixes, and dropped Python 3.7 support
- created PR to convert miss-islington into a GitHub App
https://github.com/python/miss-islington/pull/659
- The C API WG is also working on their own charter's PEP
I missed sharing this yesterday: Adam Turner will be our newest core developer!
I didn't take any meaningful photos today from the sprint, so I'll just share this photo taken by @ambv
@mariatta this is super cool. I still need to pick your brain on these some time. I have several scripts that are 90% done that I think would make decent GitHub Apps. There is a mental blocker for me though.
@webology thanks! Yeah perhaps in your future office hours if you're still doing it, I could join and we can take a look
@mariatta I'd love that. I'll plan to start them up later this month. I even found a new, shiny font I like for a more dedicated space.
