@geert yes, the color comment was meant to be a joke because ai posted a blue one before on a BeaglePlay and some people complained in the comments.

Is it doable? Can we afford (memory, processing power) to show such “fancy” effect when screen width won’t be enough to show the full message?
@shanmukhateja there's no marquee effect. The message length is fixed but is just that doesn't fit in this small display.
@javierm Hey Javier, how about putting a "smiling penguin" atop the message?
That would boost the context, don't you think so? 
@javierm Actually, I would like to see panic log messages along with the "Kernel panic!" messages; or atleast a hint on what caused the panic. There are situations in which it becomes difficult to know what caused the panic/oops. :)
