@dzajew what was the realization or activity that brought you from just exploring to really liking it?
@notnorm I mean, I'm still exploring it. I like how you can jump through your project, do some quick edits, without using mouse/touchpad. For now I'm using it just for my blog, I just want to get used to it. I played vim-adventures, the first free levels. It helped to get used to vim key bindings. I have still much to learn, though.
@dzajew Nice, yes I am also still
going through vim adventures and it’s super helpful.
I ask because the other day I accidentally opened a project in VSCode and I swore the icon bounced for over 45 seconds. Then I opened it in #neovim in #iterm2 and it was less than 3 seconds of loading. And on an M1 nonetheless!
@notnorm Oh, wow, that's long. Sometimes I have to restart VSC, because Typescript freaks out, when I change branches and yells at me that types don't match or don't exist
Have you playedthe full version of #vimAdventures ?
