Moving to FOSS
I have been moving to Open Source Social Media lately... Bluesky and more recently here.
Given that, I have wondered about created a tool for helping my "friends" move too.
I have posted my profile links there and all... but I am imagining another tool that links them together.
Process:
1.
Login with your respective social logins. Fb, Twitter, Insta and Mastodon/ Bluesky/Lemmy
2.
This app polls your "friends/ follows" on each site and ... (rest in comments)
searches Mastodon/ BS for the same username
3.
You approve the ones you want, and automatically follow them on the FOSS servers they are on
4.
It could then DM the people that don't have an account to invite them to use the tool to find their people.
eg. Some people I follow on Twitter for example might be on Lemmy server x and some on Mastodon server y and some on Bluesky...
Thoughts? Does this exist already?
