It seems like Apple is currently (meaning in the last few hours) rolling out “(Gulf of America)” in parentheses worldwide, pretty much matching Google. Anyone who checked the other day seeing something new today?

@camerageek If Apple matches Google's policy, which I think they are, it won't change for you in Mexico. But everywhere else in the world it will now be “Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)”.
Yeah - I guess they'd like to avoid the wrath of Claudia! (As an aside, I hate that the slow-rolling apocalypse emanating from the US is just so so stupid)
