@RTP the thing is to match the hype there have to be significant discoveries every month and then weekly - so far it is mostly promises although weather prediction may have gotten a bump, all that nihilism aside, for the open source llm crewe 2025 could be a good year - i suspect many smb and dev ops teams will attempt some local instances of ai to varying degrees of prompt perfection
I'd agree on that: FOSS FTW.
I heard a venture capitalist state they w/expect 5x fold return for an investment on that level.
I'm curious what kind of returns they expect on their half a trillion dollar investment, and how they could possibly meet said goal. 
Hard to imagine anything that costly being altruistic.
