Is the Foundation (Asimov) series worth subscribing to Apple TV? I loved reading this trilogy in HS.
@NebbyBeulah I only made it through a few episodes, it was a little slow for my tastes and didn’t really capture the books.
@NebbyBeulah Apple's Foundation diverges almost immediately from the original story, so do not expect to find the same feeling.
My personal opinion - but based just on the first five episodes, mind you - is that Foundation per se isn't worth subscribing to TV+. Too slow, and like many Apple productions is well "executed" but tasteless, in the end.
But on TV+ there are many other things: have a look and decide if altogether they are worth your money.
