Hygiène2Surf<p><strong>La génération TikTok ne sait pas effectuer les tâches les plus basiques sur PC</strong></p><p>Les professeurs l’ont découvert brutalement pendant le confinement. Derrière leurs écrans d’ordinateur, les <strong><a href="https://hygiene2surf.wordpress.com/tag/eleves/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">élèves</a></strong> étaient perdus. Impossible d’envoyer un devoir en pièce jointe ou de participer à un document partagé. Un paradoxe saisissant pour cette <a href="https://hygiene2surf.wordpress.com/tag/generation-z/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>génération</strong></a> née avec un smartphone entre les mains. Anne Cordier, chercheuse en sciences de l’information, dresse un constat sans appel : sur une classe de 35 <a href="https://hygiene2surf.wordpress.com/tag/eleves/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>élèves</strong></a>, seuls 2 ou 3 manifestent une réelle aisance avec l’outil informatique</p><p><strong>Le smartphone a bouleversé les usages numériques des jeunes</strong></p><p>La révolution numérique s’est accompagnée d’un changement radical dans nos habitudes. Les enfants d’aujourd’hui grandissent avec des écrans tactiles, intuitifs, conçus pour la consommation de contenus. Dès leur plus jeune âge, ils naviguent sur <a href="https://hygiene2surf.wordpress.com/tag/youtube/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>YouTube</strong></a>, créent des comptes <a href="https://hygiene2surf.wordpress.com/tag/tiktok/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>TikTok</strong></a> et l’utilisent comme moteur de recherche. Cette utilisation récréative du numérique masque une réalité plus complexe : l’absence totale de maîtrise des outils bureautiques essentiels.</p><p>Yasmine Buono, spécialiste en éducation numérique, explique ce phénomène par l’évolution des pratiques familiales. « <em>Les <a href="https://hygiene2surf.wordpress.com/tag/parents/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>parents</strong></a> donnent un écran à leurs enfants pour les occuper, puis les laissent créer leurs profils sur les réseaux sociaux. Plus tard, certains découvrent les jeux vidéo sur PC. Mais à quel moment apprennent-ils à utiliser un traitement de texte ou à gérer leurs fichiers ?</em> » Cette question reste sans réponse, créant un fossé grandissant entre compétences numériques perçues et réelles.</p><p><strong>Des inégalités sociales qui s’accentuent face au numérique</strong></p><p>Le problème prend une dimension sociale particulièrement inquiétante. Dans les milieux populaires, le smartphone s’impose comme l’unique terminal numérique. Moins cher qu’un ordinateur et perçu comme indispensable à l’intégration sociale, il devient la priorité des familles. Les conséquences sont dramatiques : certains <a href="https://hygiene2surf.wordpress.com/tag/eleves/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>élèves</strong></a> découvrent l’utilisation d’une souris au lycée, n’ayant jamais eu accès à un ordinateur à la maison.</p><p>Les établissements scolaires peinent à compenser ces lacunes. Dans les zones d’éducation prioritaire, les équipements sont souvent insuffisants : dix tablettes pour toute une école ne permettent pas un apprentissage efficace. Même les lycées privés, pourtant bien dotés, font face à ce problème. Cécile Cathelin, professeure de lettres et formatrice en usages numériques, observe les mêmes difficultés chez les <a href="https://hygiene2surf.wordpress.com/tag/eleves/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>élèves</strong></a> issus de milieux favorisés. « <em>Les <a href="https://hygiene2surf.wordpress.com/tag/parents/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>parents</strong></a>, même quand ils travaillent dans le numérique, partagent rarement leurs compétences professionnelles avec leurs enfants</em>. »</p><p><strong>L’urgence d’une réponse éducative adaptée</strong></p><p>La situation devient critique quand ces jeunes doivent communiquer dans un cadre professionnel. Les codes des réseaux sociaux contaminent leurs échanges par mail. L’absence de formules de politesse, les messages lapidaires, l’incapacité à joindre un document… Ces maladresses révèlent un manque flagrant de formation aux usages professionnels du numérique.</p><p>L’abandon des cours d’informatique traditionnels aggrave le problème. Anne Cordier regrette la disparition de ces enseignements fondamentaux : création de diaporamas, gestion de fichiers, utilisation basique d’un ordinateur. Ces compétences, autrefois enseignées en cours de technologie, sont aujourd’hui considérées comme acquises. Une erreur qui pénalise toute une <a href="https://hygiene2surf.wordpress.com/tag/generation-z/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>génération</strong></a>.</p><p>Les experts appellent à une prise de conscience urgente.
