Please work tirelessly on getting sufficient support for House Discharge Petition No. 6 to force a vote on the bipartisan Protect America's Workforce Act (HR 2550).

The Discharge Petition needs only 7 more votes to get this bill to the floor for a full vote, so please engage with every colleague you see on the importance of this bill. I know that the leaders of this Republican Administration are against this bill, which is why I need all of you working behind the scenes to advance this.

Unions built the American middle class. The government must lead the way and implement union protections for government workers. Once you secure this initial victory, I want you to keep fighting for the right of all workers to unionize.

i have a story for you, fedichildren. please, bear with me through the tedious explanation. it's worth it for the punchline.
the other week, i had a shopping delivery from a major supermarket. in my haste to unload everything, a tinnie of beer burst. the driver reimbursed me for the full 4-pack! she was back today & i profusely thanked her, which she brushed off by saying, 'that's okay. it's not as though the CEO doesn't have 3 houses'. :)
