@smitjo it was nice enough when we went for our walk at 3pm. Rugged up against the chilly breeze but the sunshine was lovely.

Walking on clouds... The snow-covered dam of Flaje reservoir creates this surreal pathway between earth and sky. Love how the pristine white snow contrasts with the moody winter forest backdrop - it's like stepping into a minimalist winter dream

Well we made it. There, and back again, although unlike Bilbo we didn't encounter any trolls or dragons.
I would post some pictures of the fantastic views to be had from the top of Shining Tor but the cloud level was a good 100 metres below the summit. So no views, only freezing fog and ice. Bracing!

Nice day for a walk around Loch Venachar. We used to have loch nights at the head of the loch when I was a teenager, but I'd never walked round it before. 12.75 miles on good tracks and minor roads.
Isn't it lovely to see blue sky after all the rain. A lovely local walk to a nearby farm today after dropping off the bike to get fixed. No major problems with it, just need a brake cable replaced.
