Windenergie hat einen CO₂-Rucksack aus der Produktion – wie jede Technik. Aber: Dieser ist schnell „abgearbeitet“. Eine moderne Windanlage gleicht ihre Emissionen je nach Standort bereits nach wenigen Monaten aus – und produziert dann jahrzehntelang nahezu emissionsfrei Strom.

Zum Vergleich: Ein Braunkohlekraftwerk „rechnet sich“ nie – es pustet für jede Kilowattstunde über 1000 g CO₂ in die Luft.

Fazit: Wer das Klima schützen will, kommt an Wind nicht vorbei. Auch in Sachsen.
