@allafarce none!

I run Maxime’s Digital Garden Jekyll Template bmannconsulting.com/notes/digi which natively transforms #wikilinks on build.

So in Obsidian I can just use it as per normal, albeit with a particular Jekyll setup of folders.

I have some additional hacks I did in the summer which ALSO links non-existent (local) wikilinks to my LogSeq archive.

TLDR use the template, get Obsidian to put new notes in the notes folder, and it should just work for you.

#iawriter, by @ia is by far the best writing tool I have ever used.

the minimalistic and focused approach they take is unparalleled. never mind the fact that it is a one time purchase. they make software the correct way and I always recommend it to others.

my only request is a small update to #wikilinks. I'd love if wikilinks updated across files, if you changed the original version.

DEVONthink To Go 3.7 brings support for WikiLinks as well as cross-platform support for various kinds of item links. It also shows PDFs inline in RTF documents and scans text directly into Markdown and text documents. Select all items in a list with a new button and do more with search results. #devonthinktogo #devonthink #update #pkm #wikilinks #markdown #productivity #workflow #pressrelease devontechnologies.com/blog/202

https:/‌/github.com

There is no consensus across tools whether the link title should come before or after the pipe character, so pandoc supports both. Choose by enabling either of the new extensions
+wikilinks_title_after_pipe
or
+wikilinks_title_before_pipe

Works with , too: for GitHub wiki input, use gfm+wikilinks_title_after_pipe

@thomasottio I actually didn't know #iAWriter had added #wikilinks. That's good news.

Worth mentioning:

- If you change the name of an iAWriter document, links to it won't update.

- iAWriter doesn't display a list of all docs that link to a given document

These two features are powerful and, for folks like me, essential.

Don't forget that one can use Obsidian absolutely free forever. (There are paid plans for syncing, but one could always use iCloud or another service instead.)

It was so smooth I had to think about it for a second.

Flancian has set up a wiki-bot in such a way that apparently when he includes wikilinks to his system and at mentions his wiki bot, it tweets back the full URLs for the resources.

This is such a clever way to integrate one’s digital garden into an external stream while simultaneously getting around the issue of Twitter character limits.

I like to think of the Agora as this, at least partly, but it is currently more in intention than in fact. Some nodes to start with, though:

This seems like such a useful thing to have in conjunction with one’s wiki.

thought about this some more and I think the wikilinks syntax should be extensible and contained within the square brackets.

So, I propose wikilink OR URI. This gives us aliases.
