Just watched ST:TOS "Assignment: Earth" (a backdoor pilot, BTW, that never got picked up). In one scene where Roberta calls the cops, I noticed that the desk set is a #WesternElectric 1660 card-dialer. Very futuristic for 1968!
family got me an old #westernelectric style #telephone for father's day! this one has had some real use. local area code and business leasing stickers on the bottom. the top row is recessed a bit so I'm sure it was used heavily with a #pbx at one point or another.
now to find my matching black phone and a couple of #ata devices. would be fun to have another #asterisk instance.
