An increase in dorsal fin injuries

"In the last two months four dolphins have been found with their dorsal fins either injured or completely severed.I'm not saying what object it was, but it's a definitely a watercraft or a propeller that's severed the dorsal fin."

One thing about our having to register canoes in #Minnesota is that it swells our #watercraft numbers; we can brag about having the most boats in the country or some such nonsense.

Seriously, though, watercraft registrations help pay for safety and invasive species programs so there's that.

And it's quite a bargain… for canoes anyway.

Renewal couldn't be easier: the state outsources it; you get an email reminder; you can renew online; stickers come in the mail.

It just so happens that spouse and I canoed out to Silver Islet way back in the go-go 90s as part of a canoe-camping trip to Tee Harbour! It was fun.

The water around Silver Islet is so clear that I felt vertigo while peering down from the canoe into the underwater mining ruins. Recommended!

I loved both of these titles on the #N64 so I just HAD to get these for the gamecube & I still play them to this date. Great games, I just wish they would continue making them.​
