aflundDas Kunstprojekt Artmoney rief 1997 der Künstler Lars Christian Kræmmer ins Leben. Das Format fand er, indem er seine rechte Hand ausstreckte und sagte: Nicht größer als diese Hand… Er rief alle Menschen auf, selbst so ein Artmoney in der Grösse 18x12cm zu malen. Das Bild war als Kunst an der Wand gedacht, und nicht unwesentlich als Valuta. Mit Artmoney kann man einkaufen gehen, seine Grundbedürfnisse sichern. Das aller erste Mal, als Lars mit einem Artmoney bezahlte, war in einem Plattenladen, wo er ein Album fand. Anstandslos und ohne Fragen zu stellen, nahm der Musikverkäufer den ungewöhnlichen Geldschein entgegen. Lars war begeistert und forderte alle KünstlerInnen im In- und Ausland auf, Artmoney herzustellen, selbst das neue Kunstgeld aktiv anzuwenden und in die Welt zu tragen beim Kauf und Verkauf. Die erste umfassende Ausstellung mit 100 Künstlern fand in einer 5000 qm grossen Halle in Kopenhagen vor mehr als 25 Jahren statt. Wie die Geschichte über Artmoney weitergeht, erzähle ich beim nächsten Mal. AnnetteFalkLundSeit 27 Jahren existiert das Kunstprojekt ARTMONEY. Alle Künstler, die sich den 7 Regeln anschliessen (Format, unika, Preis...) sind dabei. In Gruppen stellen wir zusammen aus und manchmal tauschen wir unsere Artmoney untereinander. Natürlich verkaufen wir sie auch. Der Preis für ein Artmoney ist 47 Euro, was 350 DKK oder 50 USD sind.
