MathiasPat Boonnitipat nous raconte ici l'histoire de M, jeune homme vivant chez sa mère et passant apparemment le plus clair de son temps à streamer sur son ordi et jouer sur son téléphone. Les questions de traditions familiales lui passent bien au-dessus. On a donc bien à faire à quelqu'un de notre monde moderne, semblant privilégier sa communauté virtuelle plutôt que son entourage proche.<br>
Mais lorsqu'il va apprendre que sa grand-mère maternelle est atteinte d'un cancer de stade 4, il va tâcher de gagner son estime, d'abord dans un but intéressé, pour mériter la place de numéro 1 qui aura le meilleur héritage puis progressivement, l'affect va prendre le pas.<br>

Je fais partie des gens qui ont la chance d'avoir connu et eu le temps d'être chéri par mes grands-parents paternels et maternels (j'ai même eu pendant un moment, 2 arrières grand-mères). Aujourd'hui, seule ma grand-mère maternelle est encore en vie et je mesure l'importance de maintenir le lien avant qu'il ne soit trop tard. <br>
Ce sujet de lien entre un petit fils et sa grand-mère, je peux vous dire combien il me touche et je vous avoue que j'ai versé ma petite larme en milieu de film parce que j'ai ressenti les émotions des personnages... <br>
Ça aurait peut-être pu être un peu plus court mais c'est très bien interprété et c'est beau !<br>
Je n'ai pas illustré ce post avec l'affiche française car la phrase d'accroche qui se trouve dessus "le film qui a fait rire et pleurer le monde entier" me paraît être un peu trop une injonction lourde d'obligation à rire ou pleurer alors que le film fait ça tout en douceur pour nous rappeler surtout, l'importance d'aimer et de prendre soin des nôtres dans une société qui tend chaque jour un peu plus vers l'isolement, l'égocentrisme et l'individualisme.<br>
Bref, un joli message d'espoir.<br>
