Even with noise reduction off, I drove this hot and is perfectly fine. It is #ambient #electronic #music. It also features a #roland #tr808 in a non conventional way. It generates half the ambience of the first track (cote A / Side A).

This was recorded right after Test Tones VI which was all about using percussions in a non standard way and pushing effects to their limit. The 2001 album continued that experimentation, but more in a #cinematic #soundtrack approach

@dj2mn another compromise due to size: the #tr08 lacks individual outputs. Not a big deal if at the park or on the couch where you are just looking for a groove. But for production, you have to involve a computer to get multiple outs. Too much trouble, i’ve never used it that way. By comparison, like the #TR808, the RD8 has individual analog out. That means you can easily send the kick to an octave divider or distortion pedal, snare to a gated reverb, etc. #roland #behringer

Wochenrückblick, Ausgabe 40 (2024-19).

Diesmal zu spät, dafür aber mit:

- 🗺️ dem anstehenden Umzug von Bikerouter auf eine neue Serverumgebung (diese wird komplett auf ARM-Architektur basieren, statt bisher auf Intel/AMD, außerdem wird nginx von Caddy abgelöst und die Routingdaten werden 5x statt 4x pro Tag aktualisiert werden)
- 🛠️ dem defekten USB-Stick von Prusa am MINI+ und welchen Ersatz ich dafür bestellt habe (es ist kein USB-Stick geworden)
- 🍎 den Blick in mein Applications-Directory, diesmal alle Apps mit „G“
- 🎶 Roland50 - einer Website, auf der man mit Synthesizern (TB-303) und Drum Machines (TR-808, TR-909) von Roland herumspielen kann
- 🖥️ wie mich ein Bug in WezTerm an den Rand des Wahnsinns getrieben hat und wie einfach der Fix war
- 🐘 der spannend klingenden AutoMapper PHP-Library
- 🔊 und wie immer Techno
