Good morning. 🌊🐚🍵

7 May 2025

My brain is working overtime—I can almost feel my frontal lobes overheating as I try to think through everything. Oh 💡... it stormed last night, with plenty of thunder and lightning. You know how, when lightning strikes close by, the entire sky erupts into a brilliant flash? That happened last night. Not close enough to cause any damage, I think, but close enough to make an impression. The thunderclap was particularly loud—sharp and startling, the kind that demands attention. Ben just wandered in and curled up behind my chair, a quiet comfort for both of us. He didn’t eat this morning, though he did lick at some of the chicken and rice my wife prepared for him. I’ll give him his meds in a bit. Funny how that old saying rings true: ‘When it rains, it pours.
