I use #theoldreader as my CSS reader but I'm always annoyed by how it handles font-size, there are so many inconsistencies. I try to fix this and make the font-size more consistent with this new #userstyle: https://userstyles.world/style/18115/theoldreader-consistent-font-size

I recently switched #RSSReaders from #TheOldReader to #Inoreader because I wanted more features. Their website isn't the greatest place to read feeds as far as #accessibility goes(I switched to their beta and am giving them some recommendations though, so hopefully that will change), so I'm looking for a good #Windows #app that will sync with Inoreader. I use #FieryFeeds on #iOS but I'm on my computer a lot, so I'd love a Windows app. Can anyone recommend one? I've tried several but they either didn't sync with it or accessibility was bad. Some of the ones I've tried are #FluentReader, #RavenReader, #QuiteRSS, #FeedDemon, #RSSGuard, #RSSOwlnix, and #MyReader. The last one is the only one that seemed to work with Inoreader but accessibility is pretty poor. If any others I mentioned work for you, how did you set it up? If you're using something else, what is it?

Can anyone recommend a good #accessible #RSS feed reader for #iPhone that does well with both text and audio #RSSFeeds? I recently subscribed to The Old Reader (https://theoldreader.com) and like how it lets you add text RSS feeds, #podcasts, and #YouTube channels, and I'm looking for a good app for it on my phone. I've tried #lire, but it doesn't seem to work well with podcasts.

#theoldreader kann also dann am Sonntag weg. Reeder 5 mit iPadOS/iOS funktioniert prima, nervt nicht und hat alles was ich brauche.

I’ve been using #TheOldReader as the backend for #RSS reader apps (and on occasion its web interface as a reader) since 2019; I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve ever seen it have downtime!

I'm building out a new RSS reader on Flym, and going through The Old Reader and all the blogs I used to follow regularly in the late 90's and early aughts. Shooting off the hip, I'd say that 5% are still posting regularly.

I miss the blog era and would love to see it come back.

Back in November, with the whole birdsite ordeal, I wanted to get back to using a #feed reader.

I paid for #Feeder in 2021, but I didn't use very much, even with the AI features they tout.

I paid for #theoldreader this time. I had used it before so I opened a time capsule of feeds I added back when Google Reader went down.

It was grim to see so many websites that no longer existed. I removed the dead websites, added new ones, and I still did not use it regularly.

I think now I know why.

I'm an eternal google reader orphan and I haven't recovered yet. I've been using #theoldreader to track #sciencejournals, but I was never happy with it. Does anyone know something better? #rss
