After we returned to our slip we completed a task we've been meaning to do for months and keep forgetting. We hauled all of the anchor chain out onto the dock to inspect and measure it. Summer is here and the sun is scorching in NZ.
Today I built a deck cover from palette beams and a sail from the dumpster.

Keeps the sun and rain out while I patch the deck.

Pretty stoked to have completed the whole design and installation in a day.
