Curtiss Grymala (he/him/his)<p>Well, this is exciting, and, sadly, not unexpected. <a href="https://higheredweb.social/tags/taxes2024" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>taxes2024</span></a></p>
K2<p>Oregon Rebate 2024 measure will increase corp tax rates and distribute that money to every resident in the state (~$750 per person) annually<br><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/ubi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ubi</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/taxes2024" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>taxes2024</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Oregon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Oregon</span></a> </p><p><a href="https://www.oregonrebate.org/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="">oregonrebate.org/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>

The Flight Attendant<p>Taxes done ✅ <br>We bought our home with the help of a 1st time home buyer credit in 2008 and have been paying it back in $500 increments yearly since then. So I've been forced to pay to do our taxes every year just to include form 5405. Fuck H&amp;R block &amp; turbotax. I won't be paying next year! Yes, I know about direct file but we don't qualify. <br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/taxes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>taxes</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/taxes2024" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>taxes2024</span></a></p>
Cederbs<p>In a similar sense:<br>IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN. Tax filing due in 3 days. I have yet to file, but know who I'm filing with?</p><p>DIRECTLY WITH THE IRS because hot damn, they have a direct file thing to forego having to work with intuit and you bet your booty I'm gonna use it. Thus far, more responsible friends who did their taxes earlier have been singing it's praises. So yeah, say fuck it to TurboTax if you have the option to use IRS Direct File. For the love of god, use it so we can have better free filing options plz + thank you</p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/taxes2024" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>taxes2024</span></a></p>
Grammargeddon Angel<p>Why yes, I did make my quarterly estimated tax payment today.</p><p>If you're in business for yourself (a freelancer, small biz owner, etc.), remember that the deadline is April 15.</p><p>Paying online is easy.</p><p><a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Taxes2024" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Taxes2024</span></a></p>
Mx. Luna Corbden<p>Apparently there's a pilot program in 12 states for a free IRS online tax filing system that you can try if you qualify. (I run a small business and am scared of numbers, so I'll still be going to my CPA this year, but) you might be able to use this:</p><p><a href="https://directfile.irs.gov/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">directfile.irs.gov/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p>States appear to include: Washington, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Wyoming, Arizona, California, Massachusetts, and New York.</p><p><a href="https://defcon.social/tags/Taxes2024" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Taxes2024</span></a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/US" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>US</span></a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/IRS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>IRS</span></a></p>
Stéphane Charette 🇨🇦<p>Login to the <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/RevenueCanada" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RevenueCanada</span></a> web site. From "My Account", click on "Tax Returns" and then "Tax information slips". Select 2023 and "All slips". The table with the links makes it look like each document must be downloaded individually.</p><p>But immediately above the table and above the "2023 All Slips" text on the left is a button titled "Open PDF". If you click on that button, then every tax slip is combined together into a single PDF file, easy to download and store. <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/cra" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cra</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/taxes2024" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>taxes2024</span></a></p>
