Quick glance at the Super Mario Bros I hauled for a friend. It's in okayish shape, the playfield only has minor things, the translite appears to be a professionally printed poster and the cabinet has some minor damage in the paint. It's relatively easy to play even when the flippers are obviously in the need of a rebuild (or at least the return springs replaced) and the NVRAM battery that's soldered on the CPU board really needs to go before it becomes a disaster.
Helped a friend to haul his new pin purchase from Tampere. Nice weather and all, it was an easy drive.
This is Super Mario Bros by Gottlieb, 1992. Pretty typical Gottlieb game for its era, featuring a miniplayfield with a flipper, a SMB-like platformer video mode and naturally a matching sound track and special FX.

8-Bit Big Band is releasing a new album next week! In the meantime, they released "Super Mario Praise Break." When the video description starts with "Luigi lock the doors, nobodies leaving until we get 100 gold coins in the offering plate!!" You know it's gonna be good.

So, as someone who had played Super Mario Bros 3 to death, like, it is probably one of my most played Mario games, next to Super Mario World.
I did not know about the white mushroom houses at all! I remember seeing that there was an Anchor item in the game, but never found it.
Little did I know that the Anchors are hiding in the illusive white mushroom houses, that require you to hit a certain coin threshold on specific stages per world.
Feels good finding all of these now.

Its one week until Donkey Kong Bananza and I can't wait! 
We've been covering the game for a while on Boss Rush, but this game continues to look wild.
I know Mario Kart World was the game the general audience wanted with this console, which was the best business move for Nintendo. But I think a lot of us feel this is the game that will showcase the Nintendo Switch 2 the we hoped something would!

Super Mario Strikers (GC, 2005)
Me he pasado Super Mario RPG, un juego del año de la pera en su versión de Nintendo Switch.
Lo que más me llamó la atención es que lo hizo la vieja guardia de #Square y es algo que se nota mucho a la que vas jugando al juego.
Cómo se nota que aún teniendo proyectos como este juego, Chrono Trigger y Final Fantasy VI . El perder este talentoso equipo ante la PlayStation debió de darle una buena ostia a Nintendo en su día.
Eso sí, aun siendo un juego super simple, me ha encantado y ya entiendo la discusión de la época entre este único Super Mario RPG vs Mario&Luigi, son parecidos pero totalmente distintos.

I recently read Super Mario Manga Mania by Yukio Sawada. It's a really fun read, but it does make you wonder why they don't release the rest of the Super Mario Kun series in English? I'd buy another volume!

Enjoying some long forgotten entries from my party playlist while working on the first lines of C7B0ARPU4K.
Not getting enough sleep makes me always kinda hyperactive, but really I need to get something out of my system at this point, with so many ideas clocking up my brain. I have no idea if I ever get the ability back to play all songs again on this list but music always gets me to a point where I get something done. Especially songs Like Electric Six High Voltage (see link underneath).
I haven't looked into all of the bands in the last 5 years & there are probably some I wouldn't like to support anymore but at least in my tired state I can enjoy the music without thinking to much about that.
