It doesn't seem fair. I bought that #stratocaster factory-fresh in '78 because I had no hope of affording a 'real' not-cbs Vintage strat.
But now, just because of my age, my baby qualifies for vintage repairs! Just carving a new bone nut is $100! Then it must be installed.
And then the backlog. Six weeks?! I told #12thfret it is their fault for not abducting young people and forcing them into a life of luthierism!

but I hand drew a guitar twice for this so I'm just going with it
the last thing I squeaked out in 2024.
My collection of three guitars 
is complete: Les Paul, Stratocaster, and SG. They were built entirely from scrap wood left over from previous projects.
